Day 21 - Arapahoe Basin
Out 9:00 to 2:00 with breaks for both coffee and lunch; overcast with flurries, temps in the teens and a little wind; 23 runs; 23,779 vertical; skied the 2019 Head i.Speed GS Cheater 17's; the snow and grooming was pretty good; not too many people; used a Sidas gel pad on my left shin today - still had some shin pain above the top of the boot; white on white inside the cloud up top this morning - they marked the Z (path) out to the trail from the lift with green hazard poles; had a little trouble dealing with all the terrain variations when I couldn't distinguish between the air and the snow; the dense fog lifted by 11:00.

Day 20 - Arapahoe Basin
Only out 9:00 to 11:30 with a couple of breaks to warm up and deal with boot issues; 2" new snow overnight - mostly sunny with single digit temps and a little wind; 8 runs; 7,562 vertical; skied the K2 Mindbender 108 Ti's; wind blown snow on grooming up top and fairly firm groomer down low; very few people; lower left leg extremely sore in and around the boot cuff - after stopping for the second time to deal with it I just quit; thinking the cold weather stiffened my boots significantly contributing to today's sore shin; too cold for pictures and that's a damn shame because it certainly was a spectacular view up there with snow blowning over the peaks.
